We meet at Stanwell Park Train Station (see Getting Here for details). After a quick welcome and some light housekeeping, we get straight into it with a steady climb up to Bald Hill Lookout — the only real challenge of the day, and one that quickly reminds you why the views are worth earning.
From there, we settle into an easy coastal rhythm along the Grand Pacific Walk, including the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. We move at a human pace, stop when it feels right, and let the day unfold naturally.
Along the way, there’s time for:
Sweeping ocean views
Optional swims in ocean pools
Stories, laughs, and getting to know the group — and the Coal Coast
Plenty of fresh air and wide-open coastline
Around 1pm, we roll into Wombarra Bowlo for a game of barefoot bowls — shoes off, drinks in hand, competition kept friendly.
Mid-afternoon, it’s a short stroll up the road to Coledale RSL, where the pace slows right down. Great food, cold beers, live music and The Ode bring the day to a proper close. This is where you’ll meet some of the locals, share a beer with Rooster, and hear a few of the stories that make this community what it is.
This is a full-day coastal walk and social experience for people who want a proper Aussie day out — not a bus tour, not a race, and definitely not a tourist trap.
It’s a relaxed, guided 13km walk from Stanwell Park to Coledale, combining spectacular coastline, simple outdoor fun, local venues, and genuine community culture.
This tour is:
Social, relaxed and outdoors
Built around local culture and people
Designed to feel real and unpolished
This tour is not:
An air-conditioned bus tour
A fitness challenge
A sightseeing checklist
If you want whistles, schedules or stopwatches — this probably isn’t your go
HOW THE DAY UNFOLDS
THE DETAIL
This tour is ideal if you:
Enjoy walking and being outdoors
Like meeting people and having a laugh

Prefer locals and stories over tourist traps
There will be sweat, flies and a bit of effort — but trust us, the water will feel better and the laughs will be real.
